We, NKÜ Cyber Security Society, organized a Linux Bootcamp. As the lecturer, I am grateful for the chance of meeting people interested in these fields. We talked and argued about:

  • Operating system essentials
  • How the internet protocol (IPv4) works
  • Why Linux is essential for the modern web
  • Importance of free (libre) software
  • Server maintenance tips and tricks.
  • Cybersecurity essentials
  • What is “recon”

Linux was the main focus and everyone got to experience and experiment with virtual machines. Including setting up a Linux environment and an HTTP server!

I’d like to thank my teammates for their support.
